Popular talk show host under fire.

Tomi Lahren, suspended from her outspoken political talk show.

Whether you follow politics or not, the ear piercing voice of Tomi Lahren is worldly known. If you don’t know who she is, she’s a twenty four-year-old passionate, talk show host of Tomi on The Blaze. Or at least was.

Lahren is currently facing some pretty hateful backlash for her comments about being pro choice on the popular television show, The View. Now I know what you may be thinking. How could someone face so much hate for being pro choice? Being the conservative republican she is, many are offended by her sudden change of heart. The network that airs her show suspended her for hypocritical comments and the negative image she represents.

We, The Roar, believe that although Lahren may have valid political views, hypocrisy is no way to approach an audience.

Everyone is entitled to free speech, however Lahren predominantly targets individuals who express that right. Feminism being at the center of her radar, she views protest groups as disruptive “snow flakes.” She claims that she is all for women having their own rights to do what they want with their bodies but rants about it when women protest for those rights.

The Blaze made a decision that was best for their network. Lahren’s  arrogance and objection towards others creates a following of people who act the same. A continuous divide in our country’s people is the last thing we should be worrying about.

Many believe Lahren is just speaking the truth, yes in some ways she is. However her talk show is full of rants and yelling that causes watchers to run away in fear. Yelling about something that didn’t go her political party’s way is not very approachable to people willing to hear her out.

The Blaze has rumored to cancel her show all together for speaking her opinion, which may be hypocritical in itself, but Lahren toning it down a notch and explaining her change of heart may bring her viewers back for support.

Lahren is allowed to have an opinion. Degrading someone else for their opinions and beliefs is simply vindictive and not necessary.

In short, it’s okay to have opinions. However don’t claim you are for specific rights then shame people for acting on those rights.
