Wow it’s senior year! These last three years have gone by so fast. Teachers really aren’t lying when they tell you on the first day of freshman year that it will go by quick. I have been writing for The Roar now for two years, and it's been an incredible ride. I had a great first year as a staff writer, writing about many topics from sports, the new schedule, to the school budget. I could tell from the start this was a class that I belonged in. It’s hard for me to imagine what I would be doing right now if I hadn’t accepted the invitation to journalism my junior year. While the class is a challenge it has definitely changed my life for the better! To me that’s something I love to do. I like to take chances because with big risks come even great rewards!
