Lydia Gordon, Staff Writer

Even from a young age I knew I loved three things, talking to new people, cheerleading, and writing . At the age of nine I knew I wanted to be a Biddeford Cheerleader. Being on Biddeford High School Varsity Cheering has helped me gain life long friends. Cheering is such a big part of my life and has helped me be the outgoing, talkative, and loud person I am today. I discovered my joy of running when I was 13 years old, I found it helped me relieve stress and it was something I could do with my mom. Third grade English class was where I found my love for writing (and my best friend). I knew since then I wanted to write for something that mattered. Having the opportunity to be a journalist and write for The Roar made that possible.
